The expectations placed on fathers have changed.
Providing financially is still important, but today that’s only one part of the role. Fathers are also expected to lead, communicate well, be emotionally present, build strong relationships with their kids, and create stability at home.

The challenge is that many men feel they’re supposed to excel at all of them simultaneously without ever talking about the pressure that comes with it.
The better we understand that pressure, the better equipped we are to support the people carrying it.
