NoBS Collective Reset: Why Wealth Needs Real Talk

The Reset Wealth Needed

Most podcasts about money sound the same. A guest gets introduced, their resume gets read, and thirty minutes later you’ve heard a few generic tips you could have Googled. Nobody goes deep. Nobody cuts through the noise. And nobody gives you the truth in a way you can actually use it.

I’ve had enough of that.

That’s why I tore down the old format of the show and rebuilt it from the ground up. What came out of that process is the NoBS Collective—a reset for how we talk about money and wealth.

This isn’t about chasing clicks. It isn’t about impressing you with credentials. It’s about building a community of experts and listeners who want more than surface-level conversation.

As I said in the episode:

“I’m done with that shit. I need to go deeper for you. These topics are gonna go deeper.”

That’s the promise. Every episode moving forward delivers expert truth and action steps you can put into play today.

Why the Reset Was Needed

Money advice is everywhere. The problem is most of it’s shallow. According to a recent survey, the average American spends more than seven hours a week consuming financial content online. Yet most walk away confused, overwhelmed, or worse—misled.

That’s because too much of what’s out there is designed to entertain, not educate. It’s about filling airtime, not changing lives.

The NoBS Wealth reset was built to fix that. Here’s how:

  • No endless bios. You’ll know who’s talking, but we don’t waste time.

  • No chasing trends. Media myths get called out, not followed.

  • No empty talk. Every episode ends with action steps you can apply now.

As I said in the episode:

“Our promise to you is you’re gonna have fewer of those long-winded bio intros. You’re gonna leave each episode with something to do—something right now.”

What the NoBS Collective Brings

This isn’t just a name. It’s a team.

The Collective is made up of professionals I trust: planners with unique niches, tax experts, attorneys, therapists, marketing and brand minds, and risk specialists. These are the same people I lean on inside my own family office at Black Mammoth.

Together, they represent the depth wealth conversations need. It’s not about one voice giving you every answer. It’s about having the right voices at the table when it matters most.

In the episode I explained:

“This collective are the people that work with my clients as well. Amazing, badass people that collectively are guiding our clients and you on your wealth journey.”

That’s what makes the reset powerful.

How the Show Works Now

Each episode follows a structure so you know exactly what to expect:

  1. The Intro – We set the topic and the frame.

  2. What Society and Media Say – The myths, trends, and noise we’re hearing.

  3. The Expert Point of View – What professionals actually know and do.

  4. Action Steps – Clear, usable next moves for you.

No confusion. No filler. Just a clean path from problem to solution.

Callout Box

The 31 Mentality
Football shaped how I think about this work. My college number was 31. It wasn’t just digits on a jersey—it stood for discipline, grit, and pushing beyond what people expected. That’s why the Collective is built around 31 professionals. A full roster. A team that shows up for you every down, every play.

A Practical Roadmap for Listeners

Here’s how to use this reset to your advantage:

  • Pick what matters now. Each episode covers a topic—from taxes to brand strategy to divorce planning. Choose the one that connects to your next decision.

  • Apply one step immediately. Don’t just listen. Use the action steps in your life or business today.

  • Share it. Bring your partner, your team, or your family into the conversation. Wealth is not a solo sport.

  • Send questions. Future episodes will be driven by what you need to know and the hot topics in the media.

It’s about progress, not perfection. Small steps build momentum, and momentum builds wealth.

What’s Next

The reset isn’t just an idea—it’s live. The first episode lays it all out. Coming next: Kristina Hall on Q4 brand awareness, Morgan Anderson on the one big beautiful bill, Preston Cherry on financial harmony, Dr. LaTanya White on legacy and generational wealth, and Jamie Lima on divorce and money.

This is just the start.
